Despite its relatively compact swing-arm design, the R980XR can accommodate tires measuring up to 50 inches in overall diameter.
The machine supports wheels up to approximately 15 inches wide, providing useful capacity for passenger vehicles, SUVs, pickups, and compatible light-truck applications.
Adjustable Pneumatic Bead Breaker
The R980XR uses an adjustable pneumatic bead-breaking blade to separate tire beads from the rim before mounting or demounting.
Its pneumatic system is designed to operate with a shop-air supply in the 140–165 PSI range.
TurboBlast Bead-Seating System
An integrated TurboBlast bead-seating system directs a high-volume burst of air into the tire to help seat difficult beads during inflation.
